La Troje de Adobe - Creel
About La Troje de Adobe
Guillermo and Angelica are the proprietors and managers of the Lodge La Troje de Adobe, a small boutique hotel in Creel, Mexico. They met many years ago (they are reluctant to say how many) in the Sierra while they were both living in Rarámuri (Tarahumara) communities. They share a love for the Sierra, Rarámuri culture, community building, and sustainability.
Angelica previously lived in Argentina and Mexico City. Guillermo (Memo, as his friends call him), has lived in Chihuahua City and Las Cruces, New Mexico.
They warmly welcome you to their Lodge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very charming small hotel in the center of town. The owner is incredibly nice. The rooms are very clean and nicely finished with beutifull wood. I ended up staying an extra night because I enjoyed the place so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my stay here, the host is great and speaks excellent English. The rooms are spacious and have a fully functioning and we'll maintained bathroom. All for a very good price. The location is just off the main Street making it very easy to access good restaurants and other parts of the village whilst not being too noisy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an absolute joy staying here for the week. Guillermo is the nicest man, full of resourceful information about the area, and just warm and friendly. We stayed in the top floor and loved our cabin-like room. It overlooked the town, had a little heater, desk and a good hot shower. Up until the hordes arrived for Easter, the internet was fast (no problems for long Zoom meetings). It is walking distance to all the restaurants. Just an absolute must stay when visiting Creel.
