Newly refurbished. Excellent wait staff. We all had buffet and enjoyed it. Salad bar was very fresh with plenty of choices.

Excellent buffet. Friendly servers especially Mr. Gustavo. Went there for every meals during 5 days stay at Royal Sand Resort.

Absolutely the best buffet (breakfast, lunch, &dinner) in Cancun. Excellent food straight from the grill. Great tasting food and great selection. The service was excellent. Beautiful atmosphere. Went here everyday for a week while staying at the Royal Sands resort.

Really good casual buffet. Rotating theme dinners. Solid breakfast choices. Made to order eggs and omelettes. Large selection, great service. Five star buffet. Better options if looking for table service or something a little more upscale. For a buffet, really good.

The buffet style dining had a selection, but if you are a foodie you will not appreciate the poor and cheap quality of food that was served here. BREAKFAST - french toast was half raw with egg mixture still leaky on the inside, eggs were not always cooked through (even if scrambled) or custom made omelette and request to be very well done (just in case) still was raw in areas and leaky. This may be ok to some people, and maybe this is how some folks like their food (half raw) and that's great, but some have sensitive stomachs or are pregnant and cannot allow for raw or undercooked food of any-kind. LUNCH - great salad selection with lots of greens, good dressing selection, food at the hot bar was cr*p. Overcooked pasta, overcooked rice, watery weird fish fillet (and I love fish of any kind - boiled, steamed, baked, grilled, fried, etc) - this was unspeakably gross and can't even find the right words to describe it. Dessert was the same - it was pretty, but was very cheap as everything else. With one exception to the middle hot-bar/grill area where they offer freshly made sea-food rice, burritos/tacos, or grilled meat (depending on the day of the week)...this was the most edible food in the whole buffet. I really enjoyed their burritos the one night they had them, and seafood rice was also flavorful. The upside - servers were all very awesome, and the buffet had live music every night.

Went there first day of stay for lunch food looked good but had zero taste to it. Ended up eating fresh salads instead of mediocre at best quality food. Waited for waiter for over 20-25 minutes to close the table so we can leave. Went to the lady at the front and she told me to go back and wait until our waiter came back to us. Thinking it must have been one off type of situation I went there again after couple hours to grab a smoothie. Smoothie never arrived glass for water had a terrible smell. Ordered cappuccino and got tres leches. Your cheapest gas station level coffee looks and tastes better and tres leches was like a rubber.

Excellent buffet! A great Mexican breakfast, lunch was decent but nothing special, and dinner was very good. For dinner, every day of the week is a different kind of food. Some days are better than others but more or less it was all pretty good. You are also able to order of the menu which has a great variety of different food.
