En la calle de Hegel inicia su historia Laboratorio Médico Polanco, nuestro fundador el Doctor Miguel Mendoza Sclair comenzó trabajando en conjunto con 10 médicos; se realizaban análisis clínicos con pacientes referenciados de la zona de Polanco y sus alrededores.
En 1990, después de trece años de experiencia, comenzaron a surgir nuevas necesidades en los pacientes de Laboratorio Medico Polanco, fue el momento para crear el área de Imagenología con la introducción de equipos como:
- Rayos X
- Ultrasonido
- Densitometría
Al mismo tiempo, se abrió la Sucursal ubicada en Lomas de Chapultepec, se comenzó el servicio de toma de muestra en algunos consultorios médicos en apoyo al diagnóstico del paciente. Con esta visión también iniciaron las negociaciones para establecer convenios con empresas como Bancos, Aseguradoras etc., para introducir los servicios de Laboratorio y Rayos X. En 1998, para brindar un mejor servicio a un promedio de 100 pacientes por día, instauró mayores normas de calidad y adquirió mejores equipos automatizados, ingresando a la nueva era de la tecnología, con lo que se hizo más fuerte y eficiente. Tan solo dos años después en el año 2000 con el objetivo de atender alrededor de 1,550 pacientes diarios, creó estrategias de Mercadotecnia, Ventas y plan de carrera para sus empleados.
Actualmente, Laboratorio Médico Polanco sigue trabajando para darle el mejor servicio a sus pacientes, y darle atención a alrededor de 3,500 pacientes diarios. En diciembre de 2007, nos certificamos en la Norma ISO 9001-2000 en 20 procesos y en todas nuestras sucursales; ofrecemos una gran gama de Estudios.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésima atención de las recepcionistas, súper groseras, llamamos y nos dijeron que hasta las 3 hacían las pruebas Covid y ellas salieron con que ya no las hacian, pero que la podían hacer si íbamos en carro ??♀️ muy groseras

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las pruebas en auto de covid (pcr o antigenos) ya no se hacen con cita. Por lo que estuvimos horas esperando pasar, entorpeciendo todo el tránsito, en una fila de minimo 10 coches, sin movernos, porque no se dignaron a pasar a ningún coche por 45 minutos
Covid car tests (pcr or antigens) are no longer done by appointment. So we waited hours to pass, obstructing all traffic, in a row of at least 10 cars, without moving, because they did not deign to pass any car for 45 minutes

1) No asignan números, eso sería ideal para separar a los pacientes de antígeno COVID de los usuarios normales. Por lo que los pacientes acaban esperando en la misma zona, incrementando el riesgo de transmisión de COVID(La asignación de números SI lo hacen en otras sucursales)
2 ) No contestan el teléfono para hacer cita
3) Se hacen largas colas de vehículos debido al punto anterior, obstruyen el tránsito en esta avenida
4) No cuentan con estacionamiento
5) Tienen personal insuficiente para la demanda
Many things have to improve
1) They don't assign numbers, that would be ideal to separate COVID antigen patients from normal users. As a result, patients end up waiting in the same area, increasing the risk of COVID transmission (The assignment of SI numbers is done in other branches)
2) They do not answer the phone to make an appointment
3) There are long queues of vehicles due to the previous point, they obstruct traffic on this avenue
4) They do not have parking
5) They have insufficient staff for the demand

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La banda es bien chida, el otra vez fui y hasta con paletita de dulce sali. 8 de cada 10 pacientes lo recomiendan. Ademas ahi trabaja mi compa el chano, ese wey es a toda madre.

The band is very cool, the other time I went and even with a popsicle of sweet salt. 8 out of 10 patients recommend it. Also, my compa el chano works there, that guy is all mother.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ fui a toma de muestras de sangre y la recepcion y atencion fue rapida y profesional, lo cierto es que no contestan el telefono de la sucursal pero si llaman al call center ahi les resuelven sus dudas. recomendado, no entiendo porq tiene malas reseñas
I went to take blood samples and the reception and attention was fast and professional, the truth is that they do not answer the phone of the branch but if they call the call center there they solve their doubts. recommended, I don't understand why it has bad reviews

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place sucks. I came here for a test at 8am when there was no one there. There was no receptionist and the employees were having breakfast. When I asked to do my test they asked if I had an appointment, which was scheduled by phone. I didn’t and had tried calling them several times in the previous days — they never picked up the phone. So the employees were not working but they couldn’t take me as a walk in. Never going back to Laboratorio Polanco. Go to Laboratorio Medica Sur Roma Sur instead; walked in and got my test in 10 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s my first time in Mexico City and I needed to take a Covid test prior to flying home. The other reviews are right, you need to call a different number for appointments, which I received from the Roma Norte location. I was able to make my appointment over the phone and received email confirmation. When I arrived, I was in and out within 10 min. My appointment was at 9am so it might be of advantage to go in the morning. Very efficient!
