HUITZTAPACALA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se llega desde la ciudad de Toluca por carretera pavimentada hasta el poblado de Raíces, a partir de aquí es terraceria hasta el Valle de los venados, cobran $50 pesos por estacionamiento, en éste sitio existen restaurantes, sanitarios y venta de ropa de invierno. Se puede subir en auto particular al cráter solo de martes a viernes. Los fines de semana hay transporte $50 pesos por persona en 25 minutos por terraceria en regular estado de conservación o puedes subir caminando. En el albergue hay sanitarios $10 y servicio medico (ambulancia). Son 15 minutos de caminata para llegar al maravilloso cráter y ver las lagunas del sol y de la luna. Puedes bajar a la laguna de la luna en 15-20 minutos por una vereda. Vale mucho la pena.
