This place is fantastic, it was the best of our trip, incredible location in front of the Bacalar lagoon, a lot of privacy, beautiful nature, excellent service and delicious and very healthy food! If you are in the area, it is well worth it.

An dem idyllischen und naturbelassenen Teil der Lagune kann man hier unter Palmen Campen oder in einer der gemütlichen Hütten übernachten. Zum Wasser gibt es mehrere schöne Stege und einen Zugang für Kayaks und Kanus, die man sich hier auch leihen kann um die Mangroven-Inseln zu erkunden. Eine unglaubliche Artenvielfalt an Tieren und vor Allem zwitschernden Vögeln macht diesen Ort für mich zu einem Paradies. Am Abend kann man vom Steg aus den Aufgang des Mondes sehen und die Sterne beobachten. Am Morgen glitzert das Wasser in gold und orangetönen von der aufgehenden Sonne. So eine weite, natürliche und Müllfreie Fläche ist ein wahrer Schatz.
Verònica,die Gastgeberin ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Sie ist sehr naturbewusst und außerdem eine Künstlerin die viel zu erzählen hat. Es war eine echte Freude gemeinsam zu reden und zu essen.
Laguna Azul is a beautiful place.
On the idyllic and natural part of the lagoon you can camp under palm trees or spend the night in one of the cozy huts. There are several beautiful jetties to the water and access for kayaks and canoes, which you can also rent here to explore the mangrove islands. An unbelievable variety of animals and above all chirping birds makes this place a paradise for me. In the evening you can see the moon rising and watch the stars from the jetty. In the morning the water glitters in gold and orange tones from the rising sun. Such a wide, natural and garbage-free area is a real treasure.
Verònica, the hostess is super nice and accommodating. She is very nature-conscious and also an artist who has a lot to tell. It was a real pleasure to talk and eat together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laguna Azul is the perfect place for peace and tranquillity with all the amenities of a larger resort in a private setting. The rustic cabins are lagoon front. There are kayaks for exploring the lagoon and hammocks for reading or siestas. And the attentive bilingual host, Verónica is also an incredible chef and bartender. WiFi was fine and the cabin was clean. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet retreat.
