The lagoon is called “7 colours lagoon” but really what you’ll find there is already inside you. You will find a happy person, yourself, finally free of social pressure and gray buildings. The lagoon is beautiful and will set you free. If you are a bit unlucky you may get there only to find some influencers doing something stupid and you will cringe about humanity, and look at the sky just to make sure aliens aren’t there watching. That would be shameful. But go there, even if it rains. Omg so beautiful.

One of my favorite Mexican places. Really nice colors, non salty water, calm, warm. You can rent a kayak there, or boat.

Loved the Laguna! Warning if it’s your first time, BUY WATER SHOES! My friend cut his foot on glass in the water which then started a strange reaction and he had red welts coming out of his foot. We had to go to a walk in clinic and get him a prescription of antibiotics. There is a bacteria in the lagoon that no lab has tested before, so they don’t even know what kind of bacteria it is. So be careful! And if you get the red welts it could just be an allergic reaction to the water, many locals get that reaction as well. Don’t panic but please bring or buy water shoes.

Great Place when you visit Mexico. The water has a wonderful turquoise color. Since it is a small village you can go everywhere by foot. Put your feet into the lake or even take a swim!

Stunning place must visit if you are in Yucatan. The emerald green waters are simply Amazing. Be sure to visit when it's sunny and not cloudy or else you will miss those colours.

Gorgeous vibrantly blue large lake with lots of boat tours you can take. Support the environment and preserve the lake by taking a sailing trip instead of one of the motored pontoon boats please. We stayed at a house on the lake and it was incredible to look out at the many shades of blue all day. Be forewarned though, all the tourist hotels and restaurants in town are very expensive (and I’m used to California prices) and we didn’t find any of the food to be exceptional, even at the restaurant that we were told was the best restaurant in town. We did have some really great(but expensive) burritos at a food truck across from our house though.
