★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Este paisaje se localiza a 30 km. al sureste del centro de Acapulco, entre Puerto Marqués y el Aeropuerto Internacional.
La laguna desemboca en el Océano Pacifico en forma de barra. Mide 15 kilómetros de largo y 5.5 kilómetros de ancho, es tan extensa que se confunde con el mar. De hecho, es casi tres veces el tamaño de la famosa Bahía de Santa Lucía.
La laguna ha mantenido su naturaleza intacta por lo que es uno de los lugares favoritos de los que gustan de observar aves y la flora regional.
Ha sido el escenario para la filmación de varias películas como la primera versión de Tarzán con Johnny Weissmüller y la película de Rambo protagonizada por Sylvester Stallone.
Hay muchos botes disponibles para poder explorar la laguna, todos con guías muy dispuestos a mostrar los secretos de éste bello pasaje cubierto de manglares, aunque también se puede explorar con un jet ski.
Además hay varios lugares que ofrecen la deliciosa comida de la zona.

The lagoon empties into the Pacific Ocean in the shape of a bar. Measuring 15 kilometers long and 5.5 kilometers wide, it is so extensive that it is confused with the sea. In fact, it is almost three times the size of the famous Santa Lucia Bay.
The lagoon has kept its nature intact, making it one of the favorite places for those who like to observe birds and the regional flora.
It has been the setting for the filming of several films such as the first version of Tarzan with Johnny Weissmüller and the Rambo film starring Sylvester Stallone.
There are many boats available to explore the lagoon, all with guides very willing to show the secrets of this beautiful mangrove-covered passage, although it can also be explored with a jet ski.
