Delish food in a beautiful, peaceful setting, fresh baked breads and pastry served and available for purchase, many seats overlook the small bay near marina, just absolutely wonderful!!!!

Lalaxtli is in a class by itself in Chacala. The service is attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, zen, with flowers and strangler figs growing up walls of what used to be an armory 300+ years ago. We've enjoying coming here practically every day during our extended stay. Our favorites are the infamous cinnamon rolls (ask to get fresh out of the oven), organic coffee, egg burritos, low carb breakfast, green detox smoothie and for lunch, one pizza made with sourdough crust is more than enough for two. Edgar and Esther (owners) are more than happy to interact and make useful suggestions. Edgar even invited me to join him to town to provision for our boat! I can't recommend this oasis highly enough.

Love this place !!! Right at the end of the malecon. Water views. Nice friendly service. Mario was the best. Great food and coffee drinks. We’re vegetarian and they had milk options. Great value. I work while travelling and their internet is very good. Great music and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Best place in Chacala. Oh and they make fresh bread and cinnamon buns and it’s the only place With an ATM.

This place has amazing breakfast and the location, decor and view from the restaurant are all equally great. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Chacala. Update: I'd stay away from the pasta and pizza as those were very bad and just stick to the local cuisine which they do well

I loved this delightful outdoor dining restaurant for numerous reasons! Throughout the day, they bake delicious sourdough breads and worth-the-cheat cinnamon rolls. The ambience created by the view of the bay, shade of the large trees, peaceful music, historic architecture, comfortable chairs, and robust WiFi make this a paradise to visit each day. The service is consistently outstanding, and the owners are some of the most delightful and friendliest people I’ve ever met. My life feels richer by getting to know them. Every entree we ordered was satisfying, healthy, and delicious. Their diverse pizza selection, French toast, omelettes, low carb egg breakfasts, and detox green juice were all amazing. I highly recommend Lalaxtli restaurant for its delightful zen dining experience that will satisfy every diet preference.

Wonderful restaurant, beautiful setting. Went to the special Valentine's Day dinner and it was fantastic. Loved the owners, too.

The location and atmosphere is the best part of the restaurant. I wish I could have stayed longer just sipping on coffee. It's located in a quiet and tiny hidden bay off the main strip so you don't see or hear the noise of the big beach. The green juice was quite tasty and the eggs benedict was good and came with asparagus. The shrimp wrap wasn't worth ordering again but the portion size was good. Service was just fine and you couldn't beat the view from every table. Definitely worth a visit!
