★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El 8 de Octubre de 1865, por órdenes de Tomás O’Horan, prefecto de Tlalpan, a la una de la tarde fueron ejecutados once hombres, sus cuerpos fueron exhibidos colgados de los árboles de la plaza mayor de Tlalpan, uno de estos árboles aún vive con parte de su tronco seco. El nombre de la calle once mártires fue puesto por la autoridad republicana a la caída del Segundo Imperio.
 On October 8, 1865, on orders of Tomás O'Horan, prefect of Tlalpan, at eleven o'clock in the afternoon eleven men were executed, their bodies were exhibited hanging from the trees of the main square of Tlalpan, one of these trees still lives with part of its trunk dry. The name of the street eleven martyrs was put by the republican authority to the fall of the Second Empire.
