David Moreno Knowledgeable, intelligent, trustworthy, patient, friendly, considerate. These are just a few of the many positive adjectives I would use to describe David Moreno. David started working with me more than a year ago when I was searching for properties online in Puerto Vallarta. He reached out to me and we ended up meeting when I came to Puerto Vallarta a few months later. When I first started looking, I really did not have a clear idea of what I wanted. I didn’t know if I wanted a condo or house, beachfront or slightly inland, downtown or upscale residential. David spent a few weeks taking me around to a wide variety of places and took me back to some several times. Meanwhile, he told me all about the various neighbourhoods, carefully explained the pros and cons of each including the safety, the amenities, the possibility of streets flooding in the heavy rains etc… He really knows Puerto Vallarta and never tried to pressure or mislead me in any way. We finally found a place last year and went through the somewhat lengthy and complicated process of negotiating an offer along with the help of his notary who explained the legal ins and outs of foreign property ownership in Puerto Vallarta. After much work that deal eventually fell through (no fault of David’s). I went back home to Canada but kept in touch with David who provided me with access to regular listing searches and updates. Due to Covid-19 my return to Puerto Vallarta was delayed, but I eventually returned almost a year after we first met. At that point my idea of what I was looking for had changed somewhat but had also solidified. Once again, David arranged all of the appointments, advised me on which places were not worth looking at and why and took me to a number of places in different parts of town. With David’s help we found my perfect condo. Once again, the process of negotiation and also closing was not simple, but David guided me through every step of the way and also gave me advice on many other practical matters about living in Puerto Vallarta. I ask a lot of questions and David always had the answer or knew where to get it. I have now moved into my new condo and am loving every minute of it. It’s just the perfect place for me and I know I could not have done this without David’s help. Even after closing he continues to answer a question or two and help me out when needed. I don’t normally write recommendations and certainly never one this glowing. David Moreno helped me to realize my dream and I can never thank him enough for that. Gracias David por todo!
