★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have not had a more friendly experience staying somewhere as I did at Las Alamedas. Javier is the owner and genuinely concerned as much with your experience in Guanajuato as the accommodations his Hotel provides. There are a few quaint rooms, more like small apartments, just outside of the noisy downtown area. In a short, 2 minute walk, you can be at restruaunts and shops. Really, there is a lot within walking distance from here. I would recommend this place highly to anyone and look forward to returning here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Overall a nice room. Negative: The owner send me a message directly on my private phone asking me to transfer money directly to his account as a deposit and not through booking. The bathtub in the pictures is a prop. It's not usable, and it doesn't have a plug. We decided to book this pricier accommodation because of a bathtub that's just a prop. On top there was a sign asking to save water for the environment. Very dishonest.The shower head is the size of a thumb. Literally without exaggeration..

The kind, helpful and courteous staff who go out of their way to help in any way they can. The quiet and peaceful location and the fact that it is a very attractive and traditional building.. Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Nice clean and comfortable studio apartment in the center of town, easy walking distance to everything within the center area. Comfortable bed, nice amount of space. Great communication with the owner when i had some trouble finding the location.. Negative: Water pressure on the shower was very low Room was a bit dark, however, not really an issue as I wasn't spending much time there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is super friendly and helpful. He responded every questions quickly. The room is super cozy and quiet. I was gonna book something near union garden, luckily I didn’t. This place is so quiet, clean, spacious and also very convenient to all the main sites, only within 5 mins walking distance (don’t get scared when checking google map, it’s a small town). You get your convenience and peace without street sounds. I would highly recommend people to stay here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve stayed here several times in different rooms. The location for walking around all the sites in guanajuato can’t be beat. Very close and in the middle of town so you’re half way to anywhere you want to go. The owner is quick to respond and the other staff are super helpful & sweet. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, comfortable & roomy. Good WiFi as well. Will definitely be back.
