Was looking for an authentic Mexican food restaurant, and after a few disappointments found this restaurant! I’m a vegetarian so they maid me a vegetarian burrito, the best one I had in my life!!! My friend told me that their meat meals are just as good :) If your looking for a real Mexican food experience go there!

My favorite affordable brunch spot. Family owned and good vibe to work and get a nice vegan chilaquiles.

Excellent service. Plain, simple food that is cheap. Not special, not great-- just basic. The comida corrida Is now 70 pesos, but it fills you up. The agua del día with the CC is big (I hate it when places are cheap and give a tiny glass. Aguas de frutas are cheap/easy to make). Choice of 4-5 soups and the platos fuertes cover everything-- pork, fish, beef vegetarian, and chicken in your choice of style usually with a side of frijoles refritos and a salad. They bring a dish of totopos (tortilla chips) and 3 salsas (SC is infamous for providing only one salsa...so points for the variety). Very clean bathrooms and they clean the table (not just a swipe with a questionable cloth). Sometimes roaming musicians drop by to play. Nice pleasant atmosphere and just a 1/2 block off the Zócalo. There are two of them just a few doors apart. The menu is full range with antojitos and breakfast. Not a place I go to a lot but sometimes when I'm doing errands in El centro, I just want a quick basic comida corrida. If you're looking for something special or really yummy-- don't stop here.

Found this little gem of a place while searching for a menu del dia that wasn't in the centre of Sac Cris. Lots of locals eating breakfast here even when it was close to switching over to lunch time. Had the chilaquiles... It was great. The toast + jam was phenomenal, coffee was quite good too. The taking of the order was done electronically by the waitor, pretty impressive for a place that gives a lot of food for 55 pesos. Will definitely return.

Wonderful food and very affordable. Even though it's located in Centro tourist area, it's popular with locals. Good vibes abound!

This was the very first place I visited in my trip to San Cristobal. I was excited about the coffee from Chiapas, but when I received my cup of coffee it was not hot, just warm. The waiters are strange, they waste time in nonsense, they are distracted. My food took a long time to arrive and it was also cold. Portions were just too small. I finished my plate in 2 minutes and was still hungry. But I didn’t order anything else because it would take them forever. I asked for the check and another 10 minutes to get it. I don’t know why but service in Sancris is generally poor.

Ok, it's tasty and cheap but they're a little bit busy so they didn't pay attention to me. I also asked for two cakes at the beginning, but at the end they told me they didn't ha e anymore so I don't know why I ordered it at the beginning. The restaurant already will include the tips they wsnt ro receive, you have no choice.
