★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local nondescript spot that offers a lot of varieties of meat with some of the best service I have had during my three week stay in Mexico City. The food was so good. I didnt get a photo because I ate it too fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. It's a no-frills Mexican grillhouse with very fairly priced cuts. The price of most cuts includes a choice of quesadilla or huarache, nopales, and grilled onions, as well as the daily starter (a bowl of beans and rice the day I went). The arrachera I ordered was silky soft and cooked perfectly. The T-bone was also cooked to perfection (medium) and quite sizable. Located in the heart of La Roma, it appears to cater to local office workers and people who live in the area, so knowing Spanish is recommended. It's got fondita style service, very efficient although it might feel rushed if you're unfamiliar with it. Overall, for the price point, this place is uncontested IMO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been in Mexico City for half a month and out of all the food I had this place had the best. I got the tomahawk pork chop for about $8us or mxn$160, it came with soup and tortillas and a chicken enchilada aswell...? Idk know Spanish so I just pointed at a row of words on the menu and got lucky, I ate the enchilada and thought I was done and right after the last bite out came a huge pork chop (the nicest one I ever had at a restaurant btw). Anyway it's really good and if your in the area you should try it. It legit made me smile after I was done?.

If you are looking for a simple but high quality menu, low prices, and down to earth service: this is the right place.

However, my backpack was stolen while I was eating there. Quite an event and unsafe. Caught in camera but not much can be done.
