★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These Mexican style flautas are my childhood favorites. Their fillings - chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, cheese and refried beans - are delicious. But the key to their flavor are their green and red salsas, which combined with the cheese grated on the top, are quite a treat. They go perfect with a fresh guanábana (soursop fruit), horchata (rice drink), jamaica (hybiscus drink), tamarind or fresh mango drinks. They are much more expensive than traditional street stands ones, but they are worth it.
