Un lugar muy cálido, céntrico, de fácil acceso y movilidad para cualquier punto de Catemaco y la zona de los Tuxtlas en general. El plus lo ofrece su anfitriona, la señora Chepina, que está al pendiente de sus huéspedes como si fueran de su propia familia. Ella conoce muchos contactos para hacer de tu estancia lo más provechosa, económica y segura posible. Volvería a hospedarme con ella sin dudarlo.

Economico y muy cómodo

Las huellas del caminante tiene todo lo que necesites. Habitaciones privadas o compartidas, cocina y buenos baños con agua caliente. Lo mejor que me llevo del lugar es Chepina, la dueña del hostal. Muy amable, atenta y te dará muy buenas recomendaciones sobre catemaco. Volvería a repetir sin lugar a dudas.

Good Location, wifi, hot water, clean room, beds, towels and kitchen. Just a bid of noise from the neighborhood but it's worth the good price. Very nice and helpful woner! :)

Nice place for a traveler to stay for a few nights. It has dorms and private rooms too. There's kitchen and hot water, close to the lake and market. The owner is super friendly and ready give very helpful ideas about where, how and what to do in Catemaco and nearby.

Loved this place!!, it's very cheap if you consider what you get for the price. It has two private rooms (one with its own restroom) and one shared room (that shares the restroom with the other private room). It counts with kitchen in case you want to cook or put your food on the fridge, also counts with a patio where you can wash your clothes (by hand) or simply put them to dry. It has an excellent location, by walking a couple of blocks you'll get to the church, ADO terminal or even the Malecon. The owner of the hostel (Señora Chepina) is the very best host I've ever met, she also owns a hotel called Posada Bugambilias where she lives, but you can simply call her to the number shown outside the hostel and she'll get to it. Also she helped me a lot with the planning of my trip on the surrounding area of Catemaco, like where to get the public transportation to save some money (sometimes taxi drivers bump up the prices for tourists, which is something she warned me about as well), places to visit or to avoid, what to do in case you need a plan B, etc... also she knows people on certain communities that can give you a tour in some amazing places full of nature, like in the middle of the jungle. She's very attentive, so don't hesitate to reach out to her in case you have any concern or any issue. Thanks to her, I had one of the best Birthdays ever, even cried on my last day in Catemaco (didn't want to leave but had to). I highly recommend this Hostel.
