La comunidad tiene ya más de 250 años de fundación. Aún mantiene viva la tradición del sur de Zacatecas. Sus fiestas son del 1° al 12 de enero. El día 12 hacen el papaque, que consiste en repartir naranjas a los visitantes, esto como parte de la tradición que heredaron de sus ancestros.
It has a 100-year-old temple in honor of the Lord of Huzachito. Various entertainment venues as well as a ballroom and a place for coleaderas. The community has been founded for more than 250 years. The tradition of southern Zacatecas is still alive. Their parties are from January 1 to 12. On the 12th they make the papaque, which consists of distributing oranges to visitors, this as part of the tradition they inherited from their ancestors.
