★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las Palmas is a fantastic little spot a block and a half from the Muna colectivo terminal/downtown square. Run by a lovely, warm & welcoming couple, they served some of the freshest, best tasting food I’ve had in my travels in Mexico. Chicken was cooked to perfection and vegetables were super fresh/delicious. Everything is made from scratch also so if you’re in a hurry probably best to get something average downtown. They’re obviously in high demand as they were doing a brisk take out business as well while I was there. If your traveling through Muna to see some of the Puuc cities (Uxmal, Kabah, etc) or for any reason this eatery is highly recommended and a wonderfully unexpected surprise.
