This was a great condo & beach facilities. We went on the jet ski, had piña coladas, swam in the pool, cooked breakfast in the room and slept comfortably in the bed. There were four of us on a very roomy 2 bedroom with beautiful views on the 9th floor. We didn’t get to use other amenities as we were only there for 24 hours but we will venture back. Please keep in mind the border in that area closes at 8pm SHARP from the Arizona side so get there with plenty of time for a line up. Also — watch out for sand storms in the area, we encountered one and it was a doozy that would have been very uncomfortable if we weren’t already in the taxi! The surrounding area is not very interesting, more of a resort oceanfront experience then a sightseeing adventure. Good for a contained group of friends or family. The ocean was gorgeous though, warm and salty!

We loved it there, it was a very beautiful experience except for 1 or 2 bad moments at the restaurant "THE GRILLE" the server Michael was absolutely rude and disrespectful, we ended up leaving and going to the outside taqueria area right around there, and the service was fantastic. Mario the bartender was phenomenal, the room was beautiful and the view breathtaking, and just like other review said, they need to leave more toilet paper so we don't have to be going to the front office to get it. Other than the minor issues, this place was fantastic, my kids had a blast, people was friendly and everything was just there, there was no need to leave at all. We will definitely be going back again.

Not what they advertise to be. We have stayed in both the penthouses and beach houses. They are very dirty, you can see the bathtub dirt rings around the tubs, the toilets have urine stains both inside and on outside bottom. The bed mattresses are very hard. The water pressure is so low, takes forever to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner from your hair. Either the refrigerator or stoves or washer or dryer are not working properly. Never enough cookware to prep a meal. The restaurant at the pool has very rude servers, food prices are so over priced and then if you ask for a few more paks of ketchup they charge you They seem to always be doing loud construction, like early in the morning. There rules on there resort are ridiculous strict Would not recommend this place. Not worth the price they charge. We will never stay there again.

Way overpriced food that doesnt have great taste, sometimes expensive food has its value in the taste, not this place. Some foods are not crazy expensive but expect to pay a lot in the resort... go downtown instead (for food)

Good location and views. Top dollar during March but only 2 pools heated and hottubs Luke warm. Many condos are old and need upgrades

Ummm I probably wouldn’t come here because of the security, they were super strict, couldn’t do much but then again it’s their job, but they made us feel uncomfortable. We booked on Expedia which then brought me to Virbo and I had to create an account and the owners name is Tom. It was a little confusing but figured it out. The apartment was very spacious and clean,to bedrooms and a set of bunk beds, it had everything you need such as laundry soap, condiments, utensils, plates etc. So we were able to grocery shop for the week. When you go to the pool, the kiddie pool is not warm and there is an adult pool for night. The beach is beautiful but there is always a low tide so you will have to walk a little to get to the water. The town is not fully developed, so don’t expect a Cancun experience but you will find authentic Mexican food when you drive into the town. In the tourist area of Puerto Penasco, they sell very expensive souvenirs, charging in American prices. Don’t forget to try the Oyster farm! 100 pesos for one dozen oysters

Booked 3 massages and was told I could go at any time. Got here Friday evening and I'm checking out Monday morning. We spent our Saturday out and about I go and try to book the massages today Sunday at 345 pm and the front desk lady told me the spa is closed, and asked why I didn't think to look into the massages earlier. She said I can try again tomorrow. I told her I'm leaving way before they even open the front desk and said I would have to call because I would have to speak to the spa personnel and her supervisor wasn't in today. She said they wouldn't refund me the money but they would give me credit for when I come back as if I would want to come back.

Great location and very family friendly... Staff are all helpful and most bilingual. Cash in dollars accepted everywhere. Lots of different pools based on age level available... Jacuzzis as well. Fun water activities at the beach, at reasonable cost.
