Hola, recién llego a Guanatos después de visitar el parque Nacional de las Piedras Bola, en Ahualulco de Mercado, Jalisco. De la cd. De Gdl es relativamente cerca. Conduce uno CP. O si fuera a Huachimontones y a 20 minutos está Ahualulco. Una población horizontal con algunas bellas obras de arquitectura en su centro histórico. Casi a la salida de esta población está el camino a la izquierda para ir a el parque de las Piedras bolas. Va uno subiendo una sierra en un camino en buen estado y a los pocos minutos tiene uno una visita hermosa del valle que se extiende hasta perderse la vista. Lleno de pequeños aguajes que parecen a la vista como díamantes incrustados en el paisaje. A los 20 min de subir esta sierra y después de sortear una carretera llena de curvas. Se llega a un parador donde hay un mal colocado letrero que dice "Parque de las piedras bolas". Y sin mas hay un camino solo peatonal para comenzar la aventura. Al no haber otro señalamiento y ante la ausencia de quien nos informara, decidimos empezar a caminar y dejar el carro en un costado de la carretera. Pues que les digo... Armensen de valor, pero mucho valor porque inicia una vereda que recién empieza sube una ladera de montaña. Si tienen experiencia en caminar será cosa de llegar a topar con el sendero en donde uno puede subir su carro. Pero no crean que van a encontrar como acceder a este camino fácilmente. La entrada con carro está un kilómetro más adelante de donde inicia la brecha peatonal. Mejor lleven un carro todo terreno por que este camino está lleno de variantes, desde terraceria aplanada y accesible hasta terraceria solo para acceso para vehículos doble tracción. Llegar a la entrada formal del Parque se hace en un estimado de 40 a 45 min con suma precaucion. Llega uno a un aguaje y pocos metros después está una construcción que está abandonada. De ahí sube uno por varios senderos y ¡¡Si Señor ahí están!! ¡¡Las piedras redondas!! Unas de tamaño medio, otras realmente monumentales. Es cosa de recorrer varios senderos y escoger la que uno va a querer para llavero y listo... Jajajaja ¡¡pero como están ahí semejantes Piedrotas!!! El parque es un bosque de encinos de media edad con hojarasca casi como el sueño crujiente de quien ama aplastar tantas hojas secas... ¡Se me hizo realidad mi sueño!! Jajajaja Ya después de especular el origen de semejantes piedrototas y disfrutar la naturaleza a empezar a pensar en el regreso. Aviso : no hay ni alma que pueda uno pedir información, que le dé su historia del lugar... Nadie estas tu y las piedras redondas y para de contar. Esto lo digo para que seas previsor y lleves agua, naranjas, torta ahogada y de perdís una buena tanda de papitas de las que más te gusten. Por que eso si, de que la visita te va a causar hambre y sed... Va a pasar...jajajaja
