★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going there since l moved to Puerto Vallarta. Excellent street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and burros. Open afternoons from noon until 6:00 AM except Thursdays. Personal story on why l am so loyal. When l first moved here l had spent the day working and traveling all over town. I was very tired, it was extremely hot because it was in June and l wasn't thinking clearly. I had my laptop with me, but when l left l forgot it and left it there.b I didn't realize until the next morning l lost it. I didn't know WHERE for sure l might have forgotten it, but knew it was gone. This is Mexico after all. Two weeks later l walked by the location and the manager yelled at me to come over to speak with him. I did and he handed me the laptop. He had saved it two weeks and hoped he might see me, though l had never eaten there before. That's one reason l am loyal, the other is the great street tacos and local food they prepare every day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located just south of across the street from Pollos Feliz, which is at the corner of Lazaro Cardenas and Insurgens, I got a terrific quesadilla twice in two days. They open at 3:00 pm. The little restaurant is open to the street and the light breeze. The fresh pressed tortilla almost floated off the griddle a the wind hit it. Wonderful to watch this lady and her skills. She filled my quesadilla to order, with cheese, lots of it, and onions and parsley. I chose the "suave" light weight salsa, which was the perfect complement. For 25 pesos, you cannot beat this! Friendly, homely, and charming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible price (30 pesos, $1.50, for a quesadilla), but lacking some flavor. Very little cheese and steak on the quesadilla and the homemade dough was a little bland. Can’t beat the price, but can beat the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious handmade quesadillas. We had the raja poblano (grilled poblano pepper and corn with melted cheese and fresh onions and cilantro served inside a freshly made tortilla) and a carne asada. Both were fantastic and served with a trio of hot sauces and chili oil on the side. Cost was 60 pesos for two and we were satisfied but not stuffed which worked out perfect because there is an ice cream shop right next door where you can grab a scoop or paleta for dessert.
