Las Trajineras - 16090 Ciudad de México

My fiancee and I really enjoyed the experience. We booked the tour online and they request you to 'book' the trajinera with 30 minutes in advance. This was a perfect timing since we were in Coyoacán (which was a 30 minutes drive to Xochimilco). The booking went smooth, the communication was very fast and they gave us all of the tips and directions to the trajineras. We were (negatively) surprised by the constant 'guides' who approached us by motorcycle while we were on the way to Xochimilco. Fortunately, our Uber driver was quick enough to divert them. The tour itself went very well. We booked a Basic Tour, which was enough for what we wanted to achieve. The trajinero made us aware that we could extend the tour if we wanted to, but he wasn't pushy in any way. By the time we reached 30 min sailing, he asked us whether we would like to extend our tour. We said we were fine with the 1 hour tour, and he sailed back as promised. All in all, I was very glad we booked with Las Flores Nativitas! Very honest company, very efficient and they have a whole bunch of add-ons you can book via their website. I decided to pay via their website and it went perfectly well. Definitely a great 'go to' if you are planning to visit Xochimilco.

The price of the embarcadero was great. That being said, I ordered flowers and balloons to celebrate a special occasion but there were only balloons (I had heard Xochilmilco was famous for their flowers. I was sad to not have flowers.) Our guide more than made up for it, however. Gabriel is incredible - passionate about Xochimilco, its preservation and such a gracious host and wonderful guide to the heart of Xochimilco. I recommend to anyone who is a French or English speaker (Gabriel is multilingual) Si vous apprenez Francais, bien sûr requête Gabriel, un formidable maître du Embarcaderos. Gabriel made up for the disappointment of the booking having 0 flowers. We did enjoy the music and food throughout. I recommend you ask the morning of your embarcadero and confirm everything you request will be on the boat.I give 5 stars to Gabriel, also 5 stars to Cabanero driver who was excellent and very kind, and 3.5 for the rest of the experience, so the final score is 4. A good value.

Great experience would recommend- best to do more than an hour boat ride. The time goes by fast.

It’s a extremely popular place in Mexico City where Mexican and foreigners go to party and drink,you’re literally bumping boat to boat, there’s 1,800 boats ? in the lake. Will I go there again??…I don’t think so.
