★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They serve excellent coffee using several methods to brew according to the beans. The beans come from a variety of small growers across Mexico. You can drink it there or buy beans for brewing at home. I had a Pan Piloncillo in the shape of a pig. Those crunchy bits does rich raw sugar made it excellent. My photo shows only one head because I munched it up before taking the snap. I’ll be back to try more; it looks like they have a nice menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love places that are just doing something different. To be honest, the latte wasn’t my favorite, but the Cascarita (with no caffeine) was refreshing and delicious, and I loved the scent inside as they cooked their own guayaba jelly.
There are six seats inside, and the counters are only big enough to write a postcard while you sip your drink, so it’s not a place to set up shop for hours, but it’s very charming, right next to the artesanos’ market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and beverages. Seating limited so always a wait. My chicken salad was a tasty grilled chicken breast served with fresh veggies, avocado fruit, nuts and lavender dressing. It was a surprise but so much healthier, prettier and tastier than all that chopped up and mixed with mayo. My husband enjoyed a delicious grilled veggie sandwich. If you can get a table, you will enjoy your food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Above average lavender latte with almond milk. It had a lovely presentation and the lavender taste was subtle but nice. It was not sweetened which I appreciate and the beans used were good. A slightly darker roast than I prefer but that is personal preference.
