**TOURISTS BEWARE, THEY STEAL YOUR CLOTHES** Our family and I spend a few days in beautiful Bacalar and needed laundry services and our hotel recommended Lavandería Gallardo. The business is centrally located and looked professional and clean, so we felt comfortable leaving our clothes there to launder. The clothes was ready the next day and was picked up by noon. Upon arrival to our hotel I took all the clothes out to inspect and to put away into our luggage and noticed I was missing one of my Lululemon leggings! Also, we left our own special laundry detergent for our babies, and gave specific instructions to wash ALL the baby clothes with that detergent because our babies are sensitive to regular laundry detergent and fabric softeners. NONE of their clothes was washed with our laundry detergent and smelled heavily of fabric softener. Our baby detergent bottle was returned to us full. One of my babies broke out in a rash after wearing one of her onesies that was washed here. We went back to the laundry business to look for my pants and the lady that was there wasn’t giving me any answers so I asked to talk to the owner/s. I talked to the owner on the phone and pretty much was useless. She promised to call us back after she investigated what happened to my pants with the other employee that washed our clothes. She never called back... Pretty much no one was responsible for stealing my $100 pants other than me for trusting this laundry business. She also didn’t care after I told her about the baby’s clothes not being washed with our soap like I had instructed. Overall horrible, horrible experience and zero customer service. If you are in Bacalar and need laundry services avoid this place!
