Está bien el pan y tienen una pequeña cafetería. Quizá una mejor descripción sería "pan europeo". Les vendría bien un mejor exhibidor con letreros o un menú donde explique qué es cada pan, o ambos, porque cuando fui eran las 9 am y, aunque tenían el pan hecho, estaba en las como repisas de charolas, no en un exhibidor, y tuvimos que preguntar para poder saber qué había. De hecho, también vendría bien un menú para la cafetería, porque sólo había una pizarra donde tenían enlistadas las bebidas, pero por ninguna parte los precios (de hecho, tampoco en la panadería decía los precios). Del servicio en la cafetería, pedimos dos infusiones, un té negro y una infusión de durazno, que tardaron bastante en llevar, además de que primero llevaron uno y más tarde el otro. Vale que el agua tarda un poco en hervir, pero mientras tanto se pueden tener listas las tazas con las bolsitas y después infusionarse al mismo tiempo. Fue desconcertante porque no estaban atendiendo a nadie más, las otras personas que estaban ahí ya tenían sus bebidas. Además, para ser las 9 am, el que atendía la cafetería tenía muy manchado el delantal, con pinta de ser manchas de varios días. En conclusión, está bien, pero les faltan pulir detalles (sobre todo lo de los precios, no creo que a profeco le guste que no estén exhibidos), se me hace un poco raro considerando que llevan al menos un año abiertos, según las fotos.

It is true that the water takes a while to boil, but in the meantime you can have the cups with the bags ready and then infuse at the same time. It was disconcerting because they weren't serving anyone else, the other people that were there already had their drinks. In addition, for it being 9 am, the cafeteria attendant had a very stained apron, with the appearance of stains from several days. In conclusion, it's fine, but they need to polish details (especially the prices, I don't think propheco likes that they are not on display), it seems a bit strange to me considering that they have been open for at least a year, according to the photos .

An excellent bakery that produces out of this world bread, rolls and cookies. I'm Dutch and bread is the most important part of the Dutch diet so it was amazing to discover bakery Leeuwenhoek in the historic center of Tequisquiapan. I visit the bakery daily, simply because I can't resist all the delicacies that come out of their oven (the bakva's, rolls with maracuyá and arándanos and their rosca are for example irresistible). They use Belgian yeast (an important detail in order to produce breads similar if not more tasty than back home:)) and all their baked goods are made with hard work, dedication and love by Don Jesús, Doña Verónica and their team. Don't miss an opportunity to visit this incredible bakery! Una panadería excelente con unos panes y panques extraordinarios. Soy Holandesa y pan es la parte más importante de nuestra dieta. Fue increíble encontrar a la panadería Leeuwenhoek en el centro histórico de Tequis, y desde ese día visito diariamente porque no puedo resistir las delicias que salen de su horno. Usan masa madre de Bélgica (un detalle importante para producir panes smilares si no mejores de los en Holanda) produciendo productos de alta calidad, hechos con dedicación, amor y cariño. No pierden la oportunidad de visitar a esta panadería!

We are Europeans (Dutch and Belgian) spending a few weeks in Tequisquipan. We were so delighted and amazed to find a bakery that makes bread in the REAL European style. The breads are just amazing: crunchy crusts, chewy inside with air pockets, and beautiful savory taste. Some of their breads have seeds or olives. This is by far the best bread bakery in Tequisquiapan, if not in Mexico. Make sure you come early: the secret is out and often the breads are already sold out by early afternoon.
