★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las Letras of a Mexican place are always about the most photographed thing therein. It's like you haven't been there unless you've had a picture alone or with others before the letters. This photography can be very intense. In Mazatlán, where there's little other to do during the day, I watched the throng, as they write in the Bible, teem -- aremolina, I think we say -- about the letters, where thousands of priceless photos are snapped every hour.
In Tepic, there was no crowd here. It was peaceful. The only problem was getting the cathedral into the frame of the picture. It's will is to be always reaching upward.
