★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to come here because a local told me the tomato salad was to die for. They weren’t wrong, look at it! 9 different types of gorgeous tomatoes! The agua del día was amazing too (pear when I was there.) Pretty pricey but the ambiance and service was great so highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant offers an incredible trip through culinary costumes from the peoples of Oaxaca and is housed in a beautiful courtyard. However, little details can be improved: the menu could give a little explanation of what each dish/drink is, for example, and the bathroom could be updated.
All in all, I recommend going and trying the death ceremonial mole and the tlayudas, both delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This dining experience was just great. Very beautiful and inspiring dishes created by looking not only forwards but backwards. Beats many fine dining restaurants in CDMX for sure. Try the aqua de maiz!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere and delicious food! We had the guacamole with chapulines, pumpkin tamale with shrimp (must try!!! Sadly no pics), and the tomato salad. All really good!!
Be aware though it was CASH ONLY when we went, so definitely bring some money if you go! (Not sure if that's their normal policy or not but it was printed on the menu as cash only)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem in Oaxaca, the menu is short though it's full of authentic Oaxacan dishes and ingredients. The mole de guayaba with shrimp is delicious! The service is excellent and the prices are good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible food. We had the grilled fish of the day with rice and vegetables, quelite soup, and a fresh tomato dish in beet sauce. Each dish was exquisite. The rice was probably the best I’ve had for a dining experience. The quelite soup with squash blossoms was delicate and comforting. The tomato dish was simple, but so fresh and flavorful. A must-try for anyone visiting Oaxaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my all time favorite restaurant in Oaxaca. I just learned that they have moved to a newer and bigger location since I visited in June. The tomato salad is still amazing. They now have a tomato room!! Everything is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST MEAL!! We loved the tomato salad, cheese squash blossom enchiladas with two moles- the best we have had in Oaxaca. Try t her fermented honey drink, lemonada and coffee. We hit all the big name hard to get into restaurants and this was hands down the best food and service. We just walked in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised- actually blown away!!
