★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time to Nopala. I got the sense that it's very much like San Miguel de Allende was about 40 years ago. Beautiful architecture, so much history and the town is very peaceful and tranquil. We visited with our 73 year old friend who lived there when he was about 19. He worked at the school which hosted young people from all over the world. He says he particularly liked the ladies from the states. ? One of his jobs was to bring water from the spring to the school. The spring in the pictures is dated 1450! Nopala hosts a tiangues on Mondays. I'll be sure to return to check that out.
