Really great food. I suggest you order a bunch of the starters, fish rolls, tacos de cangrejo (crab), Thai chicken and shrimp skewers all incredible.

Two things made my experience poor. The cleaning crew accidentally took my swimsuit out of the room and it was not returned. Also, I rented a room with a hot tub and it NEVER worked. It was really inconvenient twice the maintenance people came by staying for nearly an hour only for it to be broken my entire stay. When I noticed the guest services they didn’t care. For a hotel as pricey as this one I expected much better service.

Live Aqua is a beautiful hotel with a very modern feel. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge(Ricardo) helped us with private transportation to and from the hotel, off site private wine tours, and restaurant/bar reservations everyday we were there. Every staff member seemed to go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and even tried to communicate with us in English as much as possible. The spa was top tier and the masseuses were well trained. Live Aqua also has a few restaurants and bars on site and they all were delicious and the bartenders made us specialty off-menu cocktails. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Nice property. Really good pool and hot tubs. Food could be a lot better. Service was fantastic.

Amazing Beautiful place, rooms are amazing, but the TV. and phone wasn't working. So I couldn't communicate with anyone. Needed to stand up and go get someone all the time not even to ask for a Towel. At the end when I was trying to check out this guy that help me check in was trying to make me sign in a deal membership he say ?. Look like he got up set and he's tone change as he was talking I don't know maybe I try asienda los picachos next time half price and it's about 15min away ?

Beautiful place, rooms are amazing, then why 3 stars? Is a dumb instagramer dream place so visitors are not as nice as you would think even though the price makes it a luxury place, luxury sadly also attracts the wrong kind of crowds that damages an otherwise great experience. Go check it out just for the beautiful sculptures and architecture but dont stay for long because visitors average IQ is below 70

This review only pertains to the restaurant. We had a large reservation made more than a month ahead of time for dinner. We arrived at the scheduled time. The service was adequate at first, but the food came out more than a hour after we ordered in several different waves. One of our tables literally asked to have their orders canceled only to have it suddenly appear from the kitchen. When the check came, there were egregious mistakes. Charged for 6 beers when 1 was ordered. 4 tacos charged when we ordered 2. Despite painstakingly spelling it out for the waiter, the check had to be sent back 4 separate times. The waiter went from unprofessional and incompetent to extremely rude, raising his voice at our party. Truly outrageous experience for which no apologies were offered. Do not eat here. Food was fine but the experience was defined by the terrible service and a special wedding rehearsal dinner was soured by the poor decision to dine here. Wouldn't recommend aqua's restaurant to anyone.

For hotel bar only. The bar was excellent! We went around noon and had a few cocktails. They're a little on the pricey side but we'll worth it. (Paid 60$ for 5 drinks). The bartender Carlos made me a off the menu tequila cocktail and it was delicious! He took pride in his cocktails. The place is beautiful, the architecture is colonial, but modern and clean. Staff was friendly. My husband wants to stay here next time we return.
