LOMA 42 BAHIA - 63732 Nuevo Vallarta

4.6/5 based on 8 reviews

Excellent food, especially the pork dishes. The ribs with stout sauce were amazing, as was the porcetta. Good wine list includes some nice MX wines. Prices on some things are a little high, though the main dishes are reasonable given the large portions. Service is excellent.

We have visited the restaurant few times already, and it has always been a great experience. Great food, reasonable prices and excellent service. During our visit on 15th of July all the sanitary measures took place. We had a great time and will be back.

Second review and it's still 5 ? Love that they change the menu around! It's hard to decide what to order but everything is yummy!

Excellent fine food, from great entrances, to delicious pastas, and wonderful meet and seafood, cooked to perfection (slow and regular woody oven) with a touch of very different delicious flavors. Desserts are just gorgeous. Of course they also serve all kinds of drinks including professional mixology.

My girlfriend and I have come here around five times and each time it’s impressive on every level. The general surprise of people to find such a well designed trendy restaurant that weaves in multiple different design elements is situated right next to a Carl’s Jr and a Gas station only helps amplify the following experience. The service is attentive and personalized based on your desire for engagement. Each waiter is uniquely intimate with their changing menu and will give you their favorite recommendations which have proven to be delicious and it is my favorite way to order. We both love ordering the tasting menu as well because it provides an experience that is usually very cost prohibitive in the US and Canada. The level of creativity in each plate is nothing short of impressive. These chefs have a marvelous ability of manipulating ingredients and creating combinations that both fluster and befuddle you in the best and most delicious of ways. Everything from the design of the plates to the plating of each course is designed beautifully. Finally, the bar program is stupid fun. They use various different Mexican liquors in unique ways. My favorite by far is the Sutanita but everything I’ve tried is very good. Also, salts along the rim in Mexico is a constant and so far here is the only place I’ve liked them. I love this restaurant and I will keep coming back to support them because I think they are emblematic of what every restaurant should strive to be. I’m coming back tonight and I cannot be more excited. Viva Loma!

We were there on Feb 15th and it was the best meal we have had in Nuevo in years. The service was amazing and the flavors were so complex and unique. The crunchy shrimp, tuna appetizer, short rib, pork ribs and avocado ice cream were amazing! We are going back for a second time later this week

This is a lovely spot in Neuvo Vallarta. We had the shrimp and tomato pizza pictured here. We also shared the pear salad and fresh pasta with Italian sausage. All dishes were delicious. The bar, open kitchen concept and modern chic dining area make for a pleasant place to have food and drinks.

I loved everything about this restaurant. We were there on American Thanksgiving day. They had a four course Thanksgiving meal that looked decent. We opted to order from the menu instead. I chose the five course tasting menu with mixology parings - which was superb. Beautiful plating, thoughtful and original cocktails, attentive service, fresh organic produce grown on site. The banana bread ice cream was a unique bite and very enjoyable. Even after a generous tip, the price was about 1/3 what we would pay in the US for the same treatment.
