★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La comida está bien. Las flautas venían muy miserables de carne. El caldo de pollo es delicioso, las Quesadillas de papa muy ricas.
El lugar no es nada cómodo, yo se que quieren conservar el estilo de lo que era una loncheria. Pero al entrar se ve un poco sucio.
Si los recomiendo #apoyoalcomercioLOCAL
Food is ok. The flutes came very miserable with meat. The chicken broth is delicious, the potato Quesadillas very rich.
The place is not comfortable at all, I know they want to preserve the style of what was a lunch box. But upon entering it looks a bit dirty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike most of the new hipster places in this neighborhood pretending to be authentic and vintage, this small worn out place has nonchalantly been serving food for around 75 years, and the owner says the wooden bar was already there when he moved in, probably functioning as a Saloon or "Pulqueria" at the turn of the century. Try the flautas or the milanesa torta for an authentic taste of Mexico city's street food while sitting on wooden benches loaded with history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, Taquería El Recuerdo is not for everybody. The tastes are heavy, the service is just appropriate and the accommodations are limited. But, man!! that I enjoyed.
If you are walking around in Condesa or Roma in the afternoon and you want to eat like a Mexican does. Taquería El Recuerdo.
