★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is no longer Loncheria Karen. It is now TAMUL. It is a lovely, family-run restaurant that is run by Pedro and his sister.
Pedro trained at several restaurants in San Miguel de Allende including an Indian and a Thai restaurant. So, not only does he serve fine Mexican/American breakfasts and lunches but he can also cool some good curries...not a small feet. The food is very good and the restaurant us located in the beautiful reception area of Hotel las Cascades. This is really the only restaurant in the area.
Don't be fooled into thinking you are trespassing onto the hotel grounds...just go up the beautifully landscaped stairway to enjoy a lovely, reasonably priced meal.
You can dine in or carry out.
