LOOT Surf & Lifestyle Store - 40895 Zihuatanejo

LOOT is an awesome spot. Great service and atmosphere. Unique cocktails and a really nice dinner menu. We tried octopus tacos and shrimp tacos and both were very flavorful and good. There was a band playing the night we were there, so there was a lot of energy and even a little dancing. I recommend LOOT to anyone looking to have a good time!

Good food great service little pricy for the area but worth it

Highlight of our trip. We stayed at the Thompson over the winter holiday and went to Loot as often as we could. The food and price point was the best of the trip. Loot had recently updated its menu. We had green juices every morning and tried many of the items on the menu of over the course of the trip. The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. And the space was modern with a cool surf vibe. Loved this place. This is a must visit for anyone visiting.

Lovely, original, artsy, stylish place with great food and interesting coffee flavours (e.g., macadamia). On a pricy side for sure, bit worth it. We like it there!

OH m Gee - this place was LEGIT! The service was top notch, the food incredible and the ambiance - enchanting. We had the "catch of the day" and the tuna sashimi all of which was to die! Not to mention the groovy cafe below with local art and coffee that will knock your panties off. This was all topped off with a live Saxophone show that put me in a "good" mood for the rest of the night... Go - You won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend stopping by Loot whether for a coffee or for a meal. The coffee was the best we had in Zihua on our entire trip, the cream was what you’d expect at a place in the states - I’m a heavy cream user and usually have to settle for milk when in Mx so was delighted to find the real deal at Loot. I ordered off of their sides selection because I felt like something a little more like home on day four of our trip (eggs scrambled, breakfast potatoes, and house salad). My wife had the Masa Dumplings, which were amazing. The menu is eclectic and creative with a mixture of organic choices paired with local flavors to create a selection that appeals to a wide variety of eaters. The patio is relaxing and well shaded so you’re not sitting in the directed sun, which made drinking coffee in 89 degree weather much more enjoyable. The decor inside is very American hipster - from their cafe racer behind the host table to their surf board hanging on the wall creative combined with Mx style. Parking is sparse, but there are spots in front. Service is amazing and they have a wide variety of other services besides the food and the cocktails. Dinner on the roof or just cocktails, live music Saturday nights. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a must to check out when you’re in Zihua or Ixtapa.

Aside from the beach and friendly people of Zihuatanejo, LOOT was my favorite discovery. What a cool lifestyle store. I returned almost everyday for an espresso, food, a beer, and to hang out and talk to locals and enjoy their wonderful assortment of lifestyle accessories. This is a very special place not to be missed!

We stayed at a resort nearby but we come to LOOT for breakfast everyday. Love their breakfast fruit bowl - fresh, delicious and beautiful presentation. Very reasonable price and friendly staff too.
