Los 3 cenotes de Cuzamá - 97577 Cuzamá

Loved this experience - great day trip !! Saw three beautiful cenotes and had no issues with aggressive locals in town as previous reviews suggest be definitely many misleading sign posts for nearby cenotes so make sure to go to the right ones. Google maps will take you the wrong way. You should access via the main road. If you see tracks you’ve come the wrong way. I wasn’t confident that horses were well looked after, ours didn’t look too healthy but that was the only question mark around otherwise wonderful day trip. Come 8 - 11am to avoid crowds !!

Amazing experience! Just drive from the main road to this place (not the off road track). With a horse and carriage you will visit 3 cenotes in 2 - 2,5 hrs, which are absolutely breath taking. The tour on its own is a fun ride. We were the only one's so the guys can help taking amazing pictures. Must do when in this area.

Absolute 5-star experience. The cenotes were pristine and the carriage ride was an experience to say the least.

DO NOT USE SUNSCREEN! Please, other wise there will be no Cenotes in the future, and there is NO need , you will be in the shadow all the time. It was my firsts Cenotes and what a blast! Amazing, we got luck to arrive at the right time because just a little before there were 3 groups of people and right after a LOT of people arrived, if you want to enjoy the cenote by yourself arrive at the opening time 9am. We arrived at 10h , after that is super crowded. To get there from Mérida you get a van in front of the Church of Guadalupe (there is the point on the map) is 1h drive for $30 pesos, then you get a bicitaxi in Cuzamafor another $30 that will take you to the entry of the Cenotes. The Cenotes it self is $600 pesos and can be shared by 4 people (same price for less people, if you are alone or in couple you can wait for someone else to arrive and maybe do it together) with gives $150 per person for 3 amazing Cenotes, you have 30min time at them (30 for each). The cons: the transportation is pulled by a horse and VERY noise.

Actually quite nice. I was suspicious because of the trip with the horse. But it was fun. Cenote 2 and 3 are fabulous. The first ist beautiful to visit but not big enough to take a bath. Very small and narrow. We went in the early morning. When we finished it was packed. 9:00-9:30 best time.

That was a fun day! I felt a bit silly being pulled in the little train by a pony... But we haven't laughed so much in years! And the cenotes... Every one is beautiful, and each has its own unique loveliness. Also, we got to really SWIM in them, without life jackets, which makes the experience so much better. (They do provide life jackets, included, however, they are not mandatory.)

I even would give them more stars if possible! It's a very good price (600 pesos for one waggon) so if you are four people everyone pays 150 and in this price everything is included! The guides are friendly and do not stress you - so in fact you can decide how long the tour lasts. Also it is not too crowded, so you are enjoying this experience just with a few other persons.

I agree with all the comments, great place with 3 marvelous (and different) cenotes! Crazy to discover, you need to visit this place. The price is not expensive at all (600 pesos) for the fun and the experience. The horses are well treated and the guides are super interesting and friendly ! A MUST SEE
