★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get here early on Sunday and you will experience a unique, pause and close my eyes to savor the moment, experience. The tortillas are made fresh in house from nixtamal. The meat is fantastic, I’m talking small town Mexican wedding fantastic! The salsas are solid, in particular the salsa borracha. If you want great food and a great experience, this must be one of your stops!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went their on Tuesday cs on google it says open Tuesday Saturday and Sunday and we assume visit weekday so probably its less busy but it was closed. The number on the board doesn’t exist. I find their number and was told that they only open on weekends now. Spend about 700 pesos on uber to go and come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING BARBACOA! No need to travel to Texcoco when you have a Gem like this one close by! Meat melts in your moth, flavor is 10 out of 10 , Great customer service, they really take care of you and all the food is made in front of you! Can't wait to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had good expectations. Reality it is "famous" BUT in my own experience did not like it at all. Traditional meal "barbacoa" is not that tasty. Not only if you plan to dine in, that would be a bad idea... you have to stand up GET IN LINE! And ask for your meals!!!! And PAY iN ADVANCE!!! Believe it or not!!!! Not happy experience if your plan is to have meals with a good company... and then having waiters to assist you would be only if you request basic additionals!!! Of course at additional cost.
I gave two "stars" since waiters and waitresses are nice and they try to assist as much as they can.
Again, i did not like the concept of getting a table and then to stand up, to get in line and to pay in advance for main meals (and not that tasty by the way).
I do advise owner to rethink business for people going there and to dine in. As it is certainly expected to get trur restaurant service... I do not think I am coming back to this barbacoa site.
