fabulous food with incredibly friendly staff. Worth the trip if you are not in the neighbourhood. Auténtico.

We decided to try this great restaurant this AM. Really glad we did. The place is quite nice and the food is delicious. We got two of the combo #1 (chilaquilles, Machaca con huevo, beans, tortilla, coffee and fresh orange juice). The sauces on the chiliquiles were awesome! The menu are split for Espanol and English (nice for us Gringos working through our duolingo lessons). Top notch overall!

Absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend this spot for breakfast. The costillas de cerdo dish was amazing. The meat was falling off the bone, so good.

Delicious food, great portions and prices!

Great spot for breakfast or lunch! My boyfriend and I came here on a random afternoon for an early dinner/late lunch. They close at 5pm unfortunately, but luckily I eat dinner really super early, so it works out for me. They have a different “special of the day” every single day so be sure to ask about it. We ordered the special of the day which was the chilorio plate. It’s like a braised pulled meat--very flavorful and delicious! I ordered a chicken salsa verde taco and tlacoyo. You really can’t go wrong with any of their menu options. For the drink, I ordered a tamarind juice, which she made fresh right in front of me. Tamarind and some cane sugar mixed in a blender and poured over ice...yum!! The drink cost almost as much as the meal, but I think that was because it was in such a huge cup. (It seems to me that drinks here cost more or less the same as food). Anyway, if you bring your own cup, you save 5 pesos. Our meal was super filling and we even had some left over for the next day! The seasoning is fantastic! I would highly recommend stopping by here for some authentic Mexican food if you like trying new things. It seems like a family-run business and the owners are super sweet. They are well-known for their chilaquiles, which I have not tried, but look amazing. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu!
