The restaurant was definitely an experience! The atmosphere was beautiful and clean. I got the chilaquiles con pollo and it was pretty good. Didn’t really taste the chicken so that was good for me because it wasn’t overpowering. The orange juice was sooooooo good too! Loved this place. Plus, I thought it was cool that when they cleaned the tables down they sprayed it with something (maybe disinfectant) and also had a UV light to make sure all germs were cleaned. Also very accommodating as the staff held my luggage bags and also ordered me a taxi when I needed one.

Don’t be fooled by the ambience and decor of this place the food isn’t as authentic as one would think. Very disappointed with everything from the watered down jugos to the plates being served cold to the table. Most of the food has a heavy pork lard flavor and that “manteca” taste sticks with you all day. Service is ok, but really not worth the wait at the door or the mediocre food they serve.

Very delicious, very authentic chilaquiles! I had the bandera chilaquiles con pollo. A side of 2 eggs, some coffee and OJ, and I was set. Great atmosphere, unique decor and very friendly wait staff. Highly recommended. Please come early, there is minimal wait (15 minutes for us) to accommodate for social distancing. Completely worth the wait.

Very mexican experience, rich in flavour as well as in the overall experience. The food truly captures the essence of local cuisine while delivering it in a premium form. Great place to eat with family.

Wow! I read such great reviews. We walked 20 minutes and waited 25 minutes. The atmosphere is adorable and brought promise of a delightful meal. The coffee was great…we ordered (2 meals which is rare, but we couldn’t decide)…we waited…and waited… and after waiting some more 2 plates of cold and now congealed food arrived. We told them it was cold and our plates were whisked away and returned moments later, still cold and even more unappetizing. The egg we paid extra for was now overcooked from the quick reheat. It was inedible. We informed several people, but not one seemed to have a solution. We paid and left. Let me just say it’s hard to judge the normal quality of food, but the little I tasted was bland and the sauces were very thick like a gravy. I’ve had better chiliquiles at touristy resorts. If I can save one person from making this same mistake, this review was worth the time spent.

Food has a very good Nexi an style taste. Very unique and different to near by places. Services was supper slow, no coffee refills, no menu provided. It was a forgotten table, but tipping time came and they were ready to go.
