Terrible place! The place promised a lot because it is very beautiful, it has tables in a closed and open place, the place is clean, large and the bathrooms also very good. However the service, the food AWFUL. The prices are expensive and although the food is fair, it is not worth what it costs. They have very simple breakfasts that only include coffee (horrible by the way) if you want juice it is separate, we asked for two juices and the truth is very rich for that very reason we asked for a third and the surprise was that there was a little left over from the previous ones that they made and put on it pure water, the last juice tasted horrible. They have many people in the kitchen and although we were very few diners in the place they took a long time and shouted a lot, you can see that they are very poorly organized. Really better go to the pier to eat will spend much less and eat much better. PD they charge 5% commission if you pay by card

Traditional Mexican food restaurant, in front of the Xochimilco pier. Wide spaces with excellent ventilation, basic sanitary measures, a very varied menu, affordable costs. Attentive and friendly staff. The food with very good seasoning and well served.

The restaurant is located in a privileged place. And the truth is that I think it's wasted. The menu is somewhat varied but none of the dishes tried stands out in any way. I ordered a tortilla soup and it didn't come with avocado or chili or pork rinds. Later, at another table, I observed that they put the same thing and that was where the ingredients were complete. (they took them to me after a family member made the observation to the waitress but it doesn't count anymore since I was about to finish the soup) The steak tacos weren't good either and the fried tacos weren't either. It is a waste since many foreigners must arrive and perhaps they get the wrong idea about the gastronomy of our country. I think the seasoning has a lot to improve.

El lugar super agusto, la comida deliciosa... Nótese hasta la presentación... Precio: super accesible. Atención como pocas, muy amables!! Es un si o si, si están por los rumbos. ????
The super comfortable place, the delicious food... Notice even the presentation... Price: super accessible. Attention like few, very kind! It is a yes or yes, if they are on the road. ????

A decent restaurant, nothing very special. The quesadillas were dobladas not bad but you should not call them quesadillas if they are dobladas..They had a cute patio with a chicken and a little fountain. The chicken meat however was overcooked in multiple dishes. We were rushed out, I know it's a Mexican thing to quickly remove all dishes and bottles from the tables as soon as possible, but this took it to the extreme. The waiter made a few mistakes but it wasn't the end of the world. Overall it's a decent restaurant like I said, but there are definitely better places to go if you're looking for a nice place to eat after your Xochimilco ride.

TL;DR: disgrace of a place that charged 29 dollars for cold disgusting food. Eat somewhere else!!! A disgrace to Xochimilco and all the hard workers in the area!!! Keep in mind I have absolutely 0 problem eating street food or at small hole in the wall restaurants and I can’t even remember the last time I had a problem with a restaurant let alone wrote a negative review. I am no Gordon Ramsay food critic either. I am a very passive individual when it comes to food as long as it tastes decent. This is my mother’s first time having such a horrible experience in a Mexico restaurant when you assume every place tries their best to attract business. Not this place. It is positioned in a very touristic location and from the outside it looks nice. They have signs up saying “clean bathrooms” yada yada yada (by the way no paper towels or soap in the bathroom). I made the grave mistake of not reading reviews before deciding to eat here. I should have listened and I urge you to listen too. This entire meal costed us $29 dollars in American dollars. In the beginning everything was alright. We had a “touristic” menu of 3-4 different selections. The room temperature chicken soup came out and mine was missing zucchini like my moms had. It was also missing chicken. All it was rice, carrot chunks, and a ton of water. they take it back and add the zucchini. Still room temperature. We don’t complain and just write it off as bad soup. Fine we wait for the rest. Then my salad comes out. Probably the better portion of the meal. Lettuce was old but carrots were crunchy. My moms got rice that tasted like it was rewarmed. Bland and hard!!! I start complaining to my mom that these are giving me a really bad impression of the place. Then our chicken quesadilla comes out and the tortilla is literally cold. I’m not exaggerating this at all. They take it back and put it in a warm tortilla. Fine they fixed this problem. Then our entree come out. The first time again the chicken and the rest was hard and warm. We complain and they take it back. They bring it out again and it’s THE EXACT SAME TEMPERATURE. They didn’t do anything to it at all. This place is a complete disgrace to Mexican cuisine and I cannot believe it is open. When you spend 29 hard earned dollars you expect to eat halfway quality food. And after all our complains and us leaving the food as it is shown in the pictures they still had the nerve to charge full price. This is a complete disgrace trying to take advantage of their location and offering cold disgusting food. Please choose somewhere else to eat. They had some kind of event going on in the background. Host your events elsewhere. Complete disgrace. And the thought of having spent so much for nasty food kind of ruined the rest of the day since we couldn’t stop thinking about how we got ripped off. It just makes you mad when you get taken advantage of like this. They charge American prices for food nobody should even pay for, let alone 29 dollars. Please go somewhere else. I have warned you.
