★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most folkloric and nice places to eat in México!! The food is awesome, don’t leave without trying a tlacoyo which are made at the moment!
Be aware they only accept cash and if you want a beautiful view of the mountains ask to be seated in the “terraza”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most amazing restaurant I've visited in a long long time. I got here only because I was with a local Mexican family. The food was unbelievable and now I can't imagine eating Mexican fare without comparing it to what I had here. The restaurant was also just such an interesting and amazing collection of everything that is Mexican. The colors, the people, the kitchen, the helpers, the building and structure. It was all out Mexican. This is a must for any and every tourist if hi can make it. You will never regret eating or sightseeing here. The town is an added bonus. I wish I could have climbed the neighboring mountain. Will do it next time.

Bring cash or you will be running to the atm in the rain as I did, but totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy folk restaurant in the heart of Tepoz. Excellent food! Good quality, flavors and portion sizes, larger than expected. The Huarache with ribs was amazing, the pepper full of picadillo too. My family also tasted pepper filled with huauzontle (vegetable herb native to Mexico, part of the quinoa family) and found it delicious. The Aztec soup was fine. Prices are affordable. The only aspect to improve would be that the waiter brings you the food and drinks at the same time and sometimes when you arrive at the place you are thirsty and need to have a drink immediately. anyway, I really had a good experience here and would recommend the place ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Mexican style restaurant. Perfect for big groups. Very colorful and cheery! Menu is small and simple - I recommend the cecina. Portions are large, great for sharing. Service is a bit slow because the place is always full. Prices are low.

Very fast but everything is prepared perfectly and very tasty.
Very busy place so you may have to wait a few minutes to get inside.
A must visit in Tepoztlán.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a large table of 12 and absolutely everything we ordered was delicious. Amazing micheladas and the huauzontles were exquisite. To top it all up, the place is a visual delight exploding with color and the view to the mountains is spectacular. Thanks for having us, we look forward to our next visit to Mexico!
