★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite an exquisite place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, nor the inside, but the food is pretty good. There's a variety of items available, and the staff is pretty responsive. What's different here is that you order from a list, and you mark what & how many of each you want.
I ordered a plain quesadilla, not too bad, just a small regular sized tortilla. In addition, I ordered the enchiladas queretanas...I didn't think it was a full meal as it came with beans and a side salad too. The cotija cheese enchiladas are well sized, with a good serving of sauteed carrots and potatoes on top. I was pleasantly satisfied by this dish, and many of the other items looked good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok, it's not fancy and the wait staff doesn't smile much, but the service was decent and the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce were delicious. After you sit down, they give you a form to order from (someone else posted a photo of it), you mark what you want and the quantity. They bring you the same piece of paper back as the bill after you finish your meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alberto, the manager, was lovely. He gave us a little lesson on their menu, and helped us decide what to eat from their large menu. I had four enchiladas verdes, my husband had a gordita. We had drinks and dessert; the whole meal was $10, and it was delicious!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great variety of food for really good prices. Not the fanciest place but it has a lot of character. The location is great too, right in the centre of the city. We had mushroom, cactus, and potato sopes here and they were so tasty. I recommend adding the hot salsa that is provided and also asking for from fresh lime to squeeze on top. Acid, salt, fat, and heat. The perfect combination.
