★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot, I mean hot place to be, poor air circulation, the kitchen it's inside and the furnace like ambience make it almost unbearable, so you forget that the food it's OK, and for OK food? I rather sweat in a great food place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Downtown Cancun , tucked on a busy street behind the Parque de Kabah....a traditional Mexican restaurant with excellent prices and excellent food. tried their "Volcanoes", which are essentially tostadoes with various meat fillings. Their aztec soup is wonderful. A great local experience. you will likely be the only gringoes in the place. Not to worry, like most of Cancun, everyone speaks English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite Mexican resteraunt in Cancun I've found in 5 months of trying different places every day. To eat in the resteraunt is very hot bc it's open atmosphere and no a/c. There is no bar and not a drinking atmosphere.

The taste on quesadillas and tamarind water!!!
If you visit Cancun don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant specially after party.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a cute place, but the food was just okay. The tacos al pastor were very dry, the vegetarian volcano only has beans, cabbage and chopped red onions. The sirloin quesadillas had more masa than cheese or meat. The guacamole without flavor. Just not the best, although the salsas were good, so that helped make the dishes more palatable!
Glad I went, won't be back
