Very interesting, I had to see a lady washing in a huge tub, her son was inside washing the blankets with his feet. The water is super clean and crystal clear

Abierto al público, cuenta con tres entradas pequeñas. El techo es de tejas y a sus alrededores hay árboles de gran tamaño que dan sombra.
Include during your visit to Aculco. Time of stay 15 minutes. Cool place where visitors can appreciate the laundries and the flow of running water. Open to the public, it has three small entrances. The roof is made of tiles and the surrounding area has large trees that provide shade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Los lavaderos públicos están situado sobre un manantial que ha abastecido al poblado de Aculco de Espinoza, Estado de México.
Se construyeron en 1882 y aunque ya no están en uso, se han convertido en un atractivo turístico del Pueblo Mágico.
Existe una leyenda sobre una bruja en Aculco, cuentan que en el árbol de pirul se distinguen 3 niños que fueron condenados a existir dentro de el y junto a la bruja. La población prometió no dañar nunca el árbol ya que estarían sufriendo los niños en pena.
The public sinks are located on a spring that has supplied the town of Aculco de Espinoza, State of Mexico.
They were built in 1882 and although they are no longer in use, they have become a tourist attraction in the Magic Town.
There is a legend about a witch in Aculco, they say that in the lollipop tree there are 3 children who were condemned to exist within it and with the witch. The population promised never to damage the tree since the children in pain would be suffering.

An unmissable place in Aculco, it is incredible that the traditions are still preserved and that the local people still use them. If you go with a local guide ask them to tell you the legend of the witch.
