★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gyoza: itself not the best ever, covered in gooey snotty rice paste and too much oil
Other dumplings: mashed together and bathing in oil
Ramen: tried two types, both had sooo much oil none of us could go past 5 mouthfuls, and the broth itself was pretty bland and tasteless. Both of us have eaten many ramen in many places and I swear so much oil isn’t “the normal recipe”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty vegan food. Burger was a bit difficult to eat but tasted great and the ramen was full of flavour. Maybe the best mushrooms I've ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute masterful use of mushrooms. First on my radar years ago as a punk vegan kitchen with bike delivery- they’ve grown into a -dare I say upscale?- proper restaurant pushing some of the best of plant-based dishes.
I don’t know enough about the history of Mexican nor Japanese cuisine to really comment on the fusion, but I will say that it works! Ramen is delicious. Every ingredient plays a part. Yet it’s still rich and filling. Again, those mushrooms!!
Share dishes so you can try more stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing vegan restaurant in Mexico City.
The tacos were so tasty and delicious. My friend ordered the ramen and kimchi rice and it was also unbelievably good.
Whether you’re vegan or no, this is a place you must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably my favourite vegan restaurant in all of Mexico. I am very impressed with the flavours. Get ALL the apps and bring friends so you can try everything on the menu. It is a bit pricier, but totally worth it. Even my non vegan friends were impressed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely write reviews on Google, but it seemed criminal to me that Los Loosers is rated this low. A bit of context about LL: this was the very first vegan food service (initially a dark kitchen) in Mexico City, and perhaps the first (or one of the very first) in the country since back around 2011, and it can't be overstated how much impact they had to kickstart the local plant-based movement in the past few years (maybe not relevant for everyone, but in my opinion every city's vegan pioneer deserves big credit).
Evolved throughout the years, at present they offer a seasonal menu specialized in native corn, mushrooms and asian-mexican fusion. If you come from abroad, do yourself a favor and try the corn based items (burgers are amazing, but you're missing out if you don't try tacos, gorditas, etc). You just won't find anything like this literally anywhere else, even in Mexico. Also highly recommended are the ramen variations (i often see Japanese residents coming for it).
This restaurant and the work chef Mariana does behind doors is what they would call in Japan 'kodawari', an unwavering pursuit of quality, persistence, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, which is in many ways very in brand with it's heavy Japanese influence.
Didn't have many pictures at hand, but i suggest going to their instagram profile, as the menu constantly changes and they post daily over there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to get the empanada. It was so delicious.
The chicken burger was huge and there’s no way you can eat it by hand. Tasty none the less.
The guacamole is also a must. It comes with hard and soft tortillas.
Service was also quick. I’ll definitely be coming back!
