Nice place, behind a small stream of water, with a nice servce!

The eggs, the coffee. I enjoy this place for breakfast. This is a regional place with regional food. It's great for lunch and dinner, too. It is just a 5 minutes from Santaigo, NL downtwon.

The Jamaica and the service was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was good but a bit lukewarm we tried the milanesa de pollo empanizado, the flautas, and the bistec a la mexicana all very good despite being a little cold.

The good thing about this restaurant was the service, very friendly and picturesque, we went on Nov 2 "the day of the dead celebration" and there were even some customers dressed up as catrinas!! But the bad, very bad part was the food. We had some traditional dishes, starting with flambe cheese (queso flameado) the flavour was bitter and when we tried to grab it, it went thru the fork like water, is like when you put lime or lemon into mayonaise it gets curdled, it was just nasty!!! And then came the entres.... I had something like beef stew (caldo de res) the flavor was ok but I had to throw away the peace of beef because it was like a big piece of gum with lard veins in between, it was bad!!!! My kids had hot cakes, i guess they were ok, but usually they finish their plate and ask for more, not this time, they ate, but they didn't finish them!! But one more person in my group had the very tipical machacado con huevo (something like eggs with beef jerky mixed) around this places you can't go wrong with that dish, but the person who had it said it was VERY bad, that it tasted like it was made with beef that had already been used for something else, he left his whole plate intact!! To be fair, two other people in the group liked their food, one had the stew like I did but small size and with no beef, an the other had chorizo con huevo (eggs with flavoured pork meat), and they both said it was ok. I only tried the stew which was my order and I liked the flavour but not the meat, and I also tried the cheese which was BAD!!!! We used to come here all the time, but then they suddenly hiked up the prices, so we stopped. Now we said, lets give it a try, prices were normal for a tourist restaurant but the food was bad, I don't think we'll be returning any time soon!!

An awesome restaurant to take your family to. Definitely recommended. When it gets crowded (mostly on weekends) it is a little bit difficult to find a table, but the waiters will find you one quickly.

Super great environment! Excellent and authentic regional food. Highly recommend for tourists to stop by and try the amazing food. Huge portions! Don't skip out the corn bread dessert.

Very good service, the fare is a bit different from all others restaurants in the zone. The menudo bowl is HUGE, as well as all other plates. Coffee refill is included on the prices.
