It would be difficult to say if the location or the staff is better,(love Hilda) both are fantastic . A short walk 7 minutes to centro, or about 15 minutes to chedraui . Fabolous ocean view often with a strong wind. Rooms are well appointed with toaster, microwave, coffee maker ,basic dished and a small fridge.
The only negative would be the traffic noise heard if sitting out front and at night in your room, but there's traffic noise all over the world so Isla is no different.
We enjoyed our stay here and would return in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent views, super friendly host, hammock just outside the room to enjoy the ocean view. Simply cool little spot! A few minute walk from Centro.... don’t want this vacation to end.... oh yeah, 1 more thing..... sunrise and sunset views!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right on the ocean!!! This little place had everything we needed for 5 days in paradise. So much so that we are coming back in August!
Pros:
Right on ocean: amazing view and sound of waves
Lots of seating on patio:
Hammock and chairs out back
Lighted sitting area out front
Soaking pool
Water jug
Mini fridge and microwave
Comfy firm bed with mattress foam
Ac worked great
Great housekeeping
Accommodating late check in
Cons or areas of improvement:
No hot water at all, even after running for 5 min
Lot of Yellow ants at night
Lot of road noise from front
No screen on patio door, so couldn’t leave open and listen to waves at night
Front window let’s in lot light all night through white window shade
No dish soap
All in all I give it 5 stars cause it met our needs and we will be coming back, the cons I mentioned are easily fixable by management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love it !!!!!!! we stayed there from June 12-15 of this year and we just fell in love with this property , super clean you do not have room service but its worth it, the view is fabulous we are going back very soon .
We also spend lots of our time in Playa Del Norte which is just five minutes away and its amazing overall the beach is a dream and the sunset you will fall in love with it .
Luis and I are going back .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a sweet little place to relax and soak in the beauty of Isla Mujeres! If you are looking for an experience away from the sometimes chaotic and crowded North Beach and downtown areas, you will appreciate Luna de Miel. We had everything we needed and great hospitality. Cristo helped me the first day with a moto ride to rent a golf cart for our 5 day stay, and this was the best decision. We explored the island each day and loved coming back to Luna for a quick shower or swim in the pool, and to sleep peacefully at night. It helped to have brought a fan with us but there was AC and a ceiling fan in our room. This is a clean, simple, cozy spot. We will go back!
