★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A treat!! We loved the drinks menu, the food was nice too and the service by Alejandra made the whole experience so nice. Go by when you're ok to wait, have a drink elsewhere and go back for food, they have a waiting list (Feb).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has a great atmosphere and nice music! The cocktails were good. We order 4 tapas and a dessert for two persons, it was enough for us. The beans falafel and the shrimp empanada were good. The pakoras and the croquetas were also OK. We had a very interesting chocolate dessert. It was a mix of salty, sweet, cheesy, and chocolate flavors. In general was good to eat something you don't eat every day. If you like something different to eat try it! For us it was a nice dinner but a one-time visit during our stay in holbox.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking to feel that Tulum vibe in Holbox and don’t feel like risking eating at one of the more local/street food places then this spot ticks all the boxes. We recommend making a reservation as it looks like it is one of the busiest spots in town, although we went as a walk-in table around 7pm and got lucky enough.
The restaurant menu is based on tapas, and the waiter recommended that 4-5 dishes should be enough to share between 2 people and he was absolutely right.
The vibe at Luuma is created by the gorgeous design as well as the selection of music (ethnic/tribal lounge). They also seem to have unique cocktails although we didnt get a chance to try those.
If you are visiting the island, don’t miss LUUMA!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly awesome and I don’t understand how it doesn’t have better rating. Both the food (our best meal in Mexico in 2 months) and the service were really great, as was the atmosphere. True that it costs more than your average Mexican restaurant but it is a different level of cuisine and service. Absolutely try the lamb taco and the mini tamale!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Place has a really cozy atmosphere, made of a mixture of warm low light, plants and materials that will make you forget if you are in or out of a restaurant. The concept also integrates a small shop with tulum-style dressing.
They serves signature cocktails and tapas, I think I tried all of them and all are good. The consistency of the quality and service has been good, so it is for me a place where I want to go on a regular basis. The price is high but in my opinion it reflects the quality.

Staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the foods and cocktails on offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute must visit and easily one of the best restaurants in Holbox! Call ahead because securing a spot can be incredibly difficult. The best vibe and cocktails of anywhere we found on the island. Also the tapas were all incredible! If you are visiting the island, don’t miss LUUMA!
