Luxury Manzanillo

As the owner of Casa de Sofia, I purchased this property after experiencing what it had to offer: A full staff that is dedicated to you and your friends from the time you wake up until the time you send them home for the day. The views from the house are truly breathtaking and our pictures don't do them justice. The home and the city of Manzanillo are the hidden treasure of Mexico and they are a perfect mix of leisure and luxury. I am truly proud of this property and what it can provide for people who are looking for a 5 star experience and white glove service. The house is named after one of my dogs. She is in the picture attached as well as there are other pictures of the area and the views.

Casa de Sofia is PURE HEAVEN. My wife and I spent the most memorable week of our lives there. We left Columbus, Oh at 8:30 am and had a margarita in my hand in the infinity pool at 1:30 pm...incredibly. We've never been so pampered. True service and care. The community is simply breathtaking. We cannot wait to go back!!!! A+++

It is an experience like no other, from the Location, the staff, the amenities, the people, and Luxury. When I 1st experienced Casa De Sofia (Notice that I said 1st) I was floored. 1st the location is beautiful and developed with nice luxury shopping areas as well as ethnic shopping experience unique to Mexico. The staff goes the extra mile while serving our every needs. We didn't have to lift a finger. The meals prepared by the staff are 5 stars for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also the private beach, zip lining, snorkling, ATVs, deap sea fishing and the many other activities never left us with a dull moment. The people of the city are very friendly and the thing that floored us the most is that from the time that we arrived until our departure, we were surrounded by luxury. The views are amazing. From the Ocean, the mountains, the neighborhood, and the entire experience had us feeling like we were on an episode of "Lifestyles of the Super Rich" . The entire experience is literally "Amazing"

Sure Casa De Sofia is a gorgeous home, with a stunning view from every room. However, what really makes this home an excellent spot for your vacation is the amazing staff. Nestor, Rosie, Gloria and Joel will cater to your every need and desire. Be sure you add in Antonio (so much more than a 'driver') and you will be able to relax while they care for your group. Nestor and Antonio will diligently check with all of their sources to be sure your money is well spent if you schedule a fishing/snorkeling trip or surfing lesson. Some of our favorite meals were the generous fruit plate each morning, tacos/guacamole/fundido, chili rellenos with shrimp, steak dinner and fajitas. On the last day part of our group had a late take off and Rosie prepared us sopas (what the staff was lunching on) - so good, I recommend adding these to the lunch list as they are the perfect mid day meal! I'd love to see Rosie on YouTube teaching us how to make her rellenos, chicken enchiladas, Aztec soup and sopas as well as Antonio showing us his margarita and pina colada techniques! As for excursions, we fished (caught a 70 pd. sailfish), snorkeled, surfed, did the sunset cruise and toured Manzanillo. I'd recommend them all, there was not a lot to see when we snorkeled, as compared with other places our group has been (this was in April and may have been due to the conditions). However, that being said, the blowfish our guide found was worth the bargain $40 per person for the boat ride to three snorkeling sites and gear. The price for meals and drinks at the house was truly a bargain at $240 per person for the entire week (we had 3 meals outside of the house, all at spots recommended by Antonio). All in all, this was the most relaxing, laid back vacation thank to the staff. Paul, you have a gem of a crew at Casa de Sofia, I hope you realized what an asset they all are! We would return to Casa de Sofia in a heartbeat and are already missing it.

Casa de Sofia was the perfect vacation! The staff caters to your every need. The best part of the trip was the beautiful sunsets every night right from the dinner table! Amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Have stayed at both Casa de Sofia and Castillo Del Mar, both are fabulous, just depends on which fits your group better though its no disrespect to Casa de Sofia to mention that Castillo Del Mar is just stunning. Service at both was fantastic, they always go out of their way to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves and in the end the cost was more than reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough, six stars out of five!

Casa De Sofia was one of the best experiences of my life. The staff was so friendly and they made delicious meals and desserts every day! I've been to Casa De Sofia twice and it was even better the second time around. I experienced so much with the excursions and was able to relax and enjoy the sun too! Highly recommend snorkleing, zip lining, and an in-house massage!

There are not enough superlatives our family of 8 from Iowa can use to describe the Case de Sofia house, staff and overall experience we had in our January 2020 stay. Everything was first class, very personable staff with attention to every detail and desire. Food and drink were plentiful and delicious. The infinity pool so relaxing, a good place to view sunsets, whales and dolphins. We didn't want to leave, but alas our "real" life was calling....until we return!
