Amazing Peruvian restaurant!! We shared a ceviche mixto as starter and shared a lomo saltado as maincourse. It was kind of a surf and turf over 2 courses. The owner cooks everything himself and everything is fresh and tastes delicious. Im sorry we didnt take a picture of the ceviche mixto because it would take a thousand words to describe but it was beautifully made up and contained fried squid, raw salmon, octopus and large shrimps. I definitely recommend this restaurant to real foodlovers in playa that dont want to eat at the 5th av. .

We shared a mixed ceviche as a starter and a lomo saltado as a main course. It was a kind of surf and grass on 2 courses. The owner cooks everything by himself and everything is fresh and tastes delicious. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the mixed ceviche because it would take a thousand words to describe it, but it was beautifully composed and contained fried calamari, raw salmon, octopus, and large shrimp. I definitely recommend this restaurant to true beach food lovers who don't want to eat on 5th av.

Excelente!!! Una comida peruana sabrosa, como la que extrañaba de mi tierra. La Jalea y la Papá a la Huancaína son los 2 platos que más disfrute! Muy buena atención, y desde que llegas se respira Perú. Totalmente recomendado!!!!
Excellent!!! A tasty Peruvian food, like the one I missed from my land. Jelly and Papá a la Huancaína are the 2 dishes I enjoy the most! Very good service, and since you arrive you can breathe Peru. Totally recommended !!!!

Great little restaurant with tremendous flavor and freshness. We were vacationing in Riu Palace hotel, My Uncle from Tacoma Washington recommended this restaurant. My Girlfriend and I had the Ceviche de Pescado (red snapper) it was delicious. Followed up by a Jalea Mixto (lightly breaded fish fillets, calamari, and shrimp fried) it was delightful. I recommend this Peruvian restaurant Machu Pichu to any one who visits Playa Del Carmen on 5th street. Thanks you for bringing the Taste of Peru to Mexico!

These night photos do not do this food justice. Mira, PLEASE COME here and enjoy an exquisite tasting authentic Peruvian meal - great value and a delightful break from tacos . All made by the sweet Peruvian chef and his small team. Come with friends or family so you can share different plates. The ceviche de pescado was incredible - fresh, flavorful, a bit of spice, and great portion. The Loma saltado (?? Chicken dish with papas, veggies, y arroz) dish was sooo tasty and recommended by chef - I loved the suace - reminded me almost of a curry flavor... ginger and other spices. He made us Pisco sours too as requested from one of my friends. Seriously, this was a phenomenal meal and experience. I’m so glad I invited friends after walking past it one day and seeing someone enjoying the ceviche. Check out Torus Coffee just down the street too for breakfast and great coffee!
