★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Macareno is my favorite restaurant in PV, hands down. We discovered this gem on a food tour, and we fell in love. The food is incredibly tasty, the presentation is unmatched, the environment is full of gorgeous plants, and the prices are not much higher than street tacos. You can’t ask for much more!
Heads up: it closes at 3pm, so don’t plan on dinner here. Las Gueras is a related restaurant that you can go to for dinner.
Recommendations (what we got): “taquito de nada” with birria, tinga de pollo, and pastor, mimosas, “Macho Waffle,” and aqua fresca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked this breakfast spot above 4-5 others that we tried in PV. They offered a really well-priced, good quality breakfast, and the staff was kind. The restaurant itself is simple - exposed brick walls with a metal roof - which makes the entire place feel a bit like a courtyard. Would absolutely come back here next time.
