★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just stayed at Macondo for the 2nd time this year. It is a wonderful place, I love where it’s located, & the staff is incredibly nice, & helpful with everything. I would never stay anywhere else in Playa. We felt at home there, & made friends with everyone who works there, as well as right outside at the various businesses. Dario is a great guy who treated us special, Guillermo funny as can be, Jesus is awesome at the pool, & special thanks to Alanna, who helped us all the time, always with a big smile.
Stay at Macondo, I promise you will Love everything about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and new building. The staff is friendly accommodating and pleasant to speak with. The rooftop pool is also a great time and the bartenders who come up to serve are awesome. Location is nice as it's at the more quiet end and if you want hustle and bustle you can just walk down to the busy area.
