About Macondo Bungalows
Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are available free of charge for our guests’ pleasure.
Each bungalow has a variety of games and books to read and we offer high speed Wi-Fi Internet throughout all bungalow areas. For a small daily fee, air conditioning is available in the Terrace and Courtyard bungalows from May 16 through October. The beach and central plaza are only a five minute walk from Macondo, making your stay both comfortable and convenient. Guests are close to a variety of stores for shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente lugar para quedarse, algunos bungalows tienen cocina equipada y sala. Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias, sin embargo algunas no tienen aire acondicionado. Buena relación precio calidad. El servicio de limpieza es cada dos días por lo que hay que mantener lo más limpio posible. El bungalow rooftop es abierto por lo que no es muy recomendable en temporadas de lluvias. El que tengan servicio de toallas para la playa me pareció excelente
 Excellent place to stay, some bungalows have equipped kitchen and living room. The rooms are spacious and clean, however some do not have air conditioning. Good value for money. The cleaning service is every two days so you have to keep it as clean as possible. The rooftop bungalow is open so it is not recommended during rainy seasons. The towel service for the beach seemed excellent

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Macondo for 5 months and Charlie and Mel made it feel like home for me. It is the best location in Sayulita, on the north side and less than a 5min walk to the beach and has a secure access so I always felt safe. The bungalow was equipped with everything I needed for my stay and more, the complex is really well maintained and there is daily cleaning service if you need it. I loved having the pool to cool off on hot days, they also provide beach chairs, towels, umbrellas etc which are a really nice addition. I recommended friends to stay here and I look forward to coming back and staying with them again.

The kitchen was well stocked, so that we could cook some of our own meals. The management and staff take pride in their hotel. Since our last visit they have added a heated dipping pool so that even though you are just a 5 minute walk to the beach you can take a cooling dip in the pool anytime. Looking forward to going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property is beautiful and very well kept, Charlie and Mel (and Gypsy) are all very welcoming, and the location is a close walk to everything. Staying now in the upper room, basically all covered balcony with kitchen and living space all outdoors - the bedroom, while private is also nicely open. So pleased with my stay that I have already booked to bring my wife back in 5 weeks. :-)
